Shakin’ debut album

Our story:

Overview:

Shakin’ is a three-piece garage rock band from Budapest, Hungary. Their sound is based on their unique line-up as they’ve got drums, an electric guitar and a trumpet on board. They play fresh, vivid sounds with a focused stage presence. In the songs of Shakin’ there’s a great balance of catchy pop melodies and raw punkiness. They sing in English and play original tunes.

Been spending three years with writing songs, practising and playing together, now they are ready to release the band’s first full-length album with 14 tracks on it.

The Project:

In 2014, we started playing together. Mostly busking, only on acoustic instruments. Two years later, we realized that we want to write our own music, and changed to a much louder setup.

Now we’ve got plenty of songs which we play at our live shows regularly but are unreleased yet.

About one year ago we decided to record all of them to fulfill our dream about having a full-length album with our original tracks on it.

Since then we have been spent most of our spare time by recording demos, practising, having studio sessions and we have a bunch of new tunes recorded right now.

The album will be something like a summary of the first three years of Shakin’:

besides some old tunes, mainly brand-new songs are going to be released.

We are a 100% independent garage rock band.

Everything we have done so far was absolutely DIY.

Now we are working on our first album. We don’t have the financial background to cover all of this process’ costs.

We would like to ask you to support us in covering the costs of producing CDs, and promoting the album on different platforms.

The impact:

This album is the most important thing in our lives right now. We love each and every song on it, they are like new-born babies of ours.

We want to release it properly: having good-quality CDs in our hands and being able to promote it.

We believe that we can reach a really important milestone with this album, something for we have been working hard for years now.

And at last, but not least: if you liked any of our previous recordings, you are gonna love our first LP.

If you can't support us financially, don't worry. Money is only a part of this process. We also hope that by making this album we'll get our name and songs out to people that haven't heard us yet.
