As many of you are aware, South Korea is deeply distressed and in shock. A ferry that was en route to a tourist destination capsized and sank at sea, and the death toll in the disaster has reached almost 200 as of April 27th, with more than 100 people still missing.
The surviving crew members have been criticized for abandoning the passengers to the rising sea water, and for becoming the first to escape. However, there was one crew member who bravely put others' lives before hers. Park Jee Young, the youngest Sewol Ferry crew member (22-year-old), saved many lives in the disaster, but sadly, lost her own. (http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/21/world/asia/young-sewol-crew-member/)
Ms. Park is survived by her mom and a younger sister who are in need of financial support. I would greatly appreciate your kindness to deliver the message of love and respect to her family.
