I'm Riccardo, a Radiographer living in London and working at QE Hospital, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
Who knows me, can confirm that I'm an enthusiastic marathon runner and I'm taking part in many of the most important events around the world.
I'm, as well, a survivor of a rare disease known as Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
It is not the first time that I open a page deciding to sponsor a charity and I have always been grateful to be able to complete any challenge, and given word, to endure various charities along my athletic career.
Next February 2020, I will run at Sevilla Marathon, in Spain, and I decided to create awareness through sponsorships supporting the local Cancer Research (AECC), in particular the section working in the same area as the marathon at the same time I'm raising money for a most famous charity as the Cancer Research UK. No matter which country is but the fight against Cancer is something that in some moment touches everyone of us across the globe.
I have always supported and believed that was possible to carry on although the struggle as many other famous diseases.
This time Cancer has personally touched members of my family, and I felt more motivated than ever to give any possible support.
Everyone knows that I always choose sport and daily motivation as best ways to give hope and send a strong message to those fighting against all odds and to move forward.
As previously said, the raised amount will go to AECC ( Asociación Española contra Cancer ).
If you could be so kind to put an eye on it and if you would like to support me and, eventually, others working with you, or members of your family, friends and contacts, that should be great. Feel free to share the link in this email.
Doesn't matter how much, but how many will receive this message of hope and to share this information with.
