Seth’s Surgery

My name is Kath and I am blessed with 2 lovely children (Zacchaeus and Seth). I just gave birth with my youngest son last September of 2017. My youngest son Seth was born via CS as there were complications during my pregnancy. With God’s grace, everything went well and he was born healthy. He was only 2.1 kgs but he was very lively and strong. However, as he grows, we found out that he is very prone of sickness. He has been hospitalized 3 times already (Amoeba, 2x Pneumonia).

The last hospitalization was something that hit us the most. We knew that although Seth looks very strong and healthy, there is something wrong within.

He was diagnosed with diaphragmatic eventration. This is a case where in a part of the diaphragm was underdeveloped. There is a bulge on his right diaphragm. This bulge is slowly taking the place of his lungs when he breaths. Thus, making him hard time to breath. Worst case scenario, as explained by our surgeon; this may lead to Diapragmatic Hernia. This would be a more serious case as his intestines will also be able to take the lungs place. Our surgeon mentioned that our little one needs to undergo surgery. 9 months old + surgery??? This news broke our hearts. When we asked how much it would cost, he mentioned that we have to prepare at least Php 500,000. We don’t have that huge amount of money.

We are now asking you to help us raise the money our son. We humbly ask for financial assistance as we would like to provide Seth the operation that he needs.

Seth is a fighter. Let us all help him win this fight. Our family will always be grateful to everybody who are showing their support.
