I am raising personal funds in order to participate in a service trip to Chacraseca, an 11-county rural district in Nicaragua. Chacraseca is an underserved community with only a single physician. Last year interdisciplinary LECOM students set up temporary clinics in open air school buildings, without running water or electricity, and supplied all medications and other materials needed in order to serve over 1,000 patients in 5 days. With the help of you, it is my personal goal to raise $1,500 to cover the basic expenses (airfare and hotel) for this service trip in July 2014. Thank you for your support; this amazing opportunity would not be possible for me without your donation!
