Service Learning Semester

I am a college student who took 19 credit hours for four semesters to have room in my schedule to take a service learning semester abroad and still graduate on time. My college discouraged me from doing a service learning semester and had no programs that fit what I wanted to do, so I've signed up with International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ) to volunteer in Costa Rica in a hospital this semester. I'm signed up for four weeks but am trying to stay longer - three months is the goal. Any help funding this is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
