US$3,000.00raised of $3,000.00 goal goal
Chelsea is a 22 year old girl with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ehlers-Danlos, and something called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, a case her doctor refers to as the most profound he's ever seen.
Every day she struggles to get out of bed and have a normal life. A daunting task, considering on an average day she'll lose her vision and hearing upwards of twenty times and risk fainting at least once.
Right now Chelsea is unable to drive, live on her own, or go anywhere by herself due to the dangerous nature of her condition.
The money raised here would go toward the cost of obtaining a service dog.
The service dog would help her with mobility and medical alert. This would include things like providing stability and guiding, barking to alert those nearby that she's fallen, and retrieving things like medication and a phone.
Having a service dog would allow Chelsea to achieve more independence. She hopes this might someday allow her to go to college and start a career in nutrition.

Seeing your smiling face, it's hard to imagine the challenges you face each day. Good luck getting your dog!
