HI, we would like help in setting up a sensory room for our 2 year old son who has just been diagnosed with autism and severe learning difficulties.  He cannot speak, has little eye contact, does not understand instructions.  He is constantly biting, doing headstands and chewing on normal toys which are not safe for him as he can chew wood, plastics etc and eat them.  He loves ball pools, bubbles and various textured surface..as he has been identified as having sensory issues, we have been advised to encourage various sensory play.  Howvere this is difficult with another 12 month old at home who requires attention too.  There is very little provision in our area for accessing sensory play for him. We are setting him up a sensory room at home which he can access and play with no fear of  hurting himself or eating unsuitable toys.

Any donations will be helpful. for more information contact me. photos of completed project will be uploaded
