Seniors Needing Funds to Repair their 1999 RV

We were doing just fine, so we thought, living in our fifth wheel, doing the regular maintenance as we could afford, but recently have noticed that the floor seems to be “looking wet” where it should not be.We have come to the conclusion that it may be a leak in either the roof (which would leak down inside the walls) or it could be from the shower or the toilet itself.We get a lot of rain here in Victoria and high winds so we suspect that it just built up and we never saw it coming.

We have a person who would help us with this repair/fix but it would take approximately $3,000 to do so, we think.We know that is a lot to ask but if people would perhaps help us a little bit at a time, we think $4,000 or thereabouts would be more than enough, we hope. The potential extra we would put towards our 2003 Chev car repair which has a bad oil leak and needs rear brakes and a new tie rod.

If you could help us just a little bit, we would be forever grateful. We are seniors (73 years young) living on only our CPP and OAS/GIS and with huge prescription expenses every month for various complications due to leukemia which my husband just went through 24 months of chemotherapy for. I was working a part time job but had to give it up as he needed more attention than I could give him while working.
