It's that time of the year again! I am so excited to share a wonderful opportunity with you. This February, I will be returning to Senegal, West Africa with a group from Calvary Fellowship Church.  I am still in the process of raising enough funds to be able to attend this trip.

In 2005, CFC adopted the village of Babak. There are approximately 1500 people who live in this village. We have been blessed to assist prayerfully and financially with various projects in the past 10 years. Babak now has 10 public fresh water faucets and 40 private faucets throughout the village which have dramatically improved the health and quality of life within the village.

Other projects have included the provision of a grain mill, a fence around the village school, the construction of a library, funds to purchase grain and rice for the village in response to a severe food shortage, 1600 mosquito bed nets for three villages to defend against malaria, and the funds to start up a bread oven. We have also been sponsoring 24 children from the village of Babak for several years.

This year’s trip will focus in a number of areas…

Teaching and discipleship training with the men and women in the villages.
Time spent with our 24 sponsored children in Babak.
Relationship building throughout Babak and a few surrounding villages.
Bless and encourage the Mission Inter Senegal staff.

I am so excited about the opportunity to return to a country that has stolen my heart.  The past two years I have been beyond blessed to begin building relationships in the country of Senegal, and I am eager to see how the Lord is going to continue to bless those relationships.  The Lord has very clearly called me to love and serve the people in Senegal, and it has been beautiful watching his plan unfold.

First and foremost, I need partnership in prayer throughout this journey of obedience.  If you are willing to partner with me in prayer please send me your email address and I will add you to our mailing list.  Second,  the trip will cost about $2,500 plus any other expenses for vacinations an travel.  If you are willing to partner with me financially please feel free to donate here, or send a check made out to Calvary Fellowship Church to my home address.

Thank you so much for your continued support and prayer.

In Him,
Emily
