Will you help send Nozomi and Izekiel to Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC?
Nozomi and Izekiel, ages 4 and 3 respectively, are two gifted young children. They are both eager to learn and grow. Unfortunately, the public school system in our area falls short of their educational needs. As their mother, I believe they deserve the best education money can buy. However, I am also a full-time student, and my part time job only pays $8/hour. Needless to say, I cannot afford to send my children to any private school. I have faith, however, and I am willing to work tirelessly to acheive the goal of sending Zomi and Zekie to the best school in the area.
A little about Sidwell Friends(As copied from their website www.sidwell.edu)
Sidwell Friends Lower School provides an academically challenging curriculum with flexibility to meet the needs of individual students. It is also well known for being attended by Chelsea Clinton, Sasha Obama, and Malia Obama.
Sidwell Friends School is an educational community inspired by the values of the Religious Society of Friends and guided by the Quaker belief in "That of God" in each person.
Tuition is very expensive, but I (Nozomi and Izekiel's mother) am determined to raise the funds. With help from financial aid, we should be able to get the cost down to about $11,000 per year, per child. This is a lofty goal, but it can be acheived. With your help, Nozomi and Izekiel can attend Sidwell Friends and maxamize their potential.
Our first goal is to raise $2,000 by December 15, 2012. For a donation of $100 or more, you will receive a homemade Pinecone Christmas Centerpiece, collected and decorated by Nozomi, Izekiel, and myself.
