Good afternoon, friends.
Hello everybody! I am Valentinus Vesakha Vincent, presently a final year student at University of Hertfordshire & University of California, Berkeley. I am from Medan, a state at Northern part of Sumatra Island, Indonesia. As most of you know, I am always active in involving and working on projects together with aspiring change-makers to make impacts among the society since I had the chance to work with different Non-Governmental Organizations worldwide.
This year, I am very honored to be selected as Youth Delegate for Indonesia from 5,000+ applicants and I will speak about the current Social and Education issue in Southeast Asia; propose actionable ideas and solutions to Government Leaders, Social Activist, Experts and other delegates at United Nations Conference Hall - Bangkok, Thailand. The objective of this congress is to promote regional cooperation and collective action in pursuit of 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals and assisting countries to achieve shared economic growth and social equity.
However, despite having some allowances from my parents and freelance jobs, I still need to pay tuition fees for my course at UCB and it does not giving me opportunities to save money for additional activities.
With your help, I will be able to cover the program fees, food, accommodation and transportation (round-trip airfare) expenses for one week in Bangkok, Thailand. I believe the opportunity to speak in front of Government Officials, Activists and Experts at United Nations Office will grow me as a person and will be a stepping stone toward my future plans and purpose. I am hoping to reach the goal of this fundraising by 25th of August 2018 (Deadline to confirm on my attendance). The funds will go to Street Feeders Kuala Lumpur if it doesn't reach 50% of the total goals.
Please support me by donating or even sharing this page! I appreciate your support and thank you very much for wanting to be part of my journey. I will try giving regular update on my experience at UN HQ at Bangkok. I also would love to send you a thank you post card (if you send me your address via email) from UN Office! Any questions about me, please feel free to reach me at [email protected] or visit my personal website at https://valentinusvincent.com
Peace and Love,
Valentinus Vesakha Vincent
