Hi My name is Thabani, I was born in Chicago, but moved to South Africa at the age of 3weeks and havent been out of the country since. I'm now 26 years of age and work as a computer technician in Durban. Since I can remember I've always wanted to travel outside the county to either Europe or the United states. Given my unfortunate financial situation and the weekness of the Rand against major currencies like the US Dollar and the Euro, this has been almost impossible to afford.Recently a friend of mine in Austria has invited me to come and watched the Grand Prix event in Austria in June 2015. He has offered to accommodate me at his apartment and take care of expenses like food. He has also purchased the ticket to the event for me.The challenge for me now begins with me buying the plane ticket from Durban (SA) to Vienna (Austria). The flight costs R9500 with is the equivalent to $800. 1usd is equivalent to R12 and1eur is equivalent to R13While abroad I would also like to try and pay my way around with a few things and not be a complete burden on my good friend, as I plan on being there for a week, so the total amount I will need is approximately $1100 (11 - 23 June 2015). He has given me a great opportunity to travel outside South Africa for the 1st time in my life to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I now humbly request from the bottom of my heart for you to help me grab this opportunity with both hands.
