Send Rush Limbaugh Packing!

On March 8th, 2010 syndicated talk-show hate monger, Rush Limbaugh told a caller that that if Obamacare passed, he would leave the country.  His exact words in fact were, "I'll go to Costa Rica."  Now since then, Rush has stated that what he meant was he would simply fly to Costa Rica for health care and not actually move there.  But Rush makes a living holding people accountable for what they say with his own self-imposed beliefs about what they actually meant, vs what they said.  And being a man of self-proclaimed integrity that he is, we feel it's only right to treat him as he treats others.  

 

In his own words:

 

  LIMBAUGH: "My guess in even in Canada and even in the UK, doctors have opted out. And once they’ve opted, they can’t see anybody Medicare, Medicaid, or what will become the exchanges. They have to have a clientele of private patients that will pay them a retainer and it’ll be a very small practice. I don’t know if that’s been outlawed in the Senate bill. I don’t know. I’ll just tell you this, if this passes and it’s five years from now and all that stuff gets implemented — I am leaving the country. I’ll go to Costa Rica."

Naturally, we can only assume the reason he hasn't moved yet, or even begun shopping for a home must be because he's financially challenged... after all, he regularly touts that Americans are worse off today than we were 4 years ago.  And who is more American than Rush Limbaugh? (in his eyes? nobody).  

This fundraiser then, has been created to help Rush Limbaugh move to Costa Rica.  We have taken the liberty of finding a beautiful home with really wide stairs to make it easy for him to navigate.  It's in San Jose, Costa Rica so he won't have to travel far from his G5 private jet either.  

We've also calculated how much fuel his private jet will use on his trip, and the average cost of living for a Costa Rican life.  Here are the numbers:

I'm not sure if he's still abusing this drug, but just in case, we wanted to make sure he has all the creature comforts of his home in America.   I'm not sure how you much you need to take before it's considered 'abuse' either, and I'm not clear if he snorted it or just swallowed it... but assuming he wanted to take 1 pill a day, either orally or by crushing it and snorting it, I think this should do the trick.

Jet Fuel for his private Gulfstream G550: $4329

I know, I know, you are thinking, "why should I donate money to help a man move to Costa Rica who can afford his own jet?"  Well, good question, but have you ever thought about how expensive it is to own one of these things?  The jet fuel costs alone is nearly $5000 everytime I pulls it out of the garage!  According to the research I've done, the flight from his home in Florida to Costa Rica will take just under 3 hours.  His jet consumes approximately 3000 pounds of fuel the first hour, and 2000 pounds of fuel for each hour thereafter.  So conservatively, it will use around 962 gallons of fuel at approximately $4.50 per gallon.  This doesn't include the money he will need to stock his wet bar and bags of peanuts.

Of course, these are estimates, and there are always unforseen expenses, so we are really hoping everyone pulls together and we can surpass the estimated amount.  

WHAT IF RUSH SAY'S NO???

This is the part that I love the most... while I'm sure Rush is a man of his word, and he would never squelch on a committment, in the off chance that he rejects our offer (which we will present to him in a legal contract outlaying all the terms and conditions so he can't come back in later) we will then donate all the money raised to the re-election campaign for Barack Obama in Rush Limbaughs name!!!

 

So he has two options: 

1. Take the money and leave the country

2. Contribute nearly $1 million dollars raised to the Barack Obama re-election campaign!

 

Either way, for supporters of Barack Obama, and people who are tired of Rush Limbaugh spewing hate from his fat mouth, everybody wins! (and most importantly... hopefully Barack Obama wins another 4 years as President of the United States!)

I am 100% committed to this fundraiser and I will see it through to the end.  But I need your help to send Rush Limbaugh out of the country and if this won't do it, then I'd love nothing more than to see Barack Obama earn another 4 years in office.
