Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my donation page. Here you will learn a little about me and why I am asking for your hard earned money.
About Me:
In case you don't know me, my name is Nicholas Hanfelder and I currently reside in the very small town of Englewood, FL. I am an aspiring singer/songwriter just looking to "make it." Whether that be on the big stage or the small stage, I would honestly be comfortable just making a living doing what I love. I am 24 years old and currently unemployed. I believe I have struggled in "the real world" because I know that I can't be happy unless I am doing what makes me happy, which is music. Period. Please take a look at my video and listen/watch the makings of the hard work and dedication I have put into my craft. It is everything to me and the emotion I put forth every time I open to mouth to belt out a tune is apparent, I believe.
The Cause:
What I am looking for here is simple. Support to help me get to a competition that is sort of a big deal in the "singing world" that happens annually in Laughlin, Nevada. It is called Talent Quest. The top winner of this competition could win a large cash prize, a chance to record at a well renowned recording studio and the recognition to possibly become something any serious singer can dream of. Everything I personally would need to get my life back on track and get my life moving in the direction it is destined toward.
The Catch:
The competition is not cheap and will require a decent amount of money to attend. I believe though that this is not unreachable with the support of others.

$400-$600 round-trip airfare to Las Vegas, NV.
$150 round-trip shuttle to Laughlin, NV.
$300 in shopping for professional clothing.
$375 to enter contest (includes 7 night stay in hotel/casino).
$300 food/expenses allowance.
$275 emergency incidentals.

I am not looking to reach this goal in time for this year's contest but if I did, that would be surprisingly incredible.
