Send my rescued cats abroad from Saudi Arabia

My name is Amal from Saudi Arabia.

I started rescuing cats and dogs in 2006, when I was in college and found many many friendly, sick cats and dogs with no food nor shelter!

Unfortunately, many people leave their cats and dogs behind when they are on their final exit from our country. Even leaving them on the streets when they aren't able to find them a home or whatever their reasons are to just leave their pet behind.

I’ve been slowly working on rescuing these animals because I didn’t have resources. Then I graduated and I got an accounting job to help pay for their medical expenses, food, cat litter and other neccessities.

Right now, the only job I have is offering boarding for people's beloved pets who don't want to keep them in a cage the whole time they're on vacation. This is the only way I can look after my rescued animals!

In Saudi, we don’t have shelters or any of the animal welfare organization other countries provide. So all the work sets on individuals, like me, who are exhausted, broke and emotionally drained! But we are passionate about trying to help these poor, defenseless animals! We can’t stop helping them, can we?

Right now, I have at least 13 cats who are ready for their forever homes in Canada, UK and USA. But I don’t have the funds for that. You may wonder why do I have to send them abroad? Simply because they have been waiting for over a year and no suitable homes have been found.

I’m overwhelmed with the number of cats without homes! Plus, the huge Vet bills! Without your kind help and consideration, I won’t be able to help these poor creatures or even continue rescuing. (With this passion to try to save these animals, I have completely depleted our savings.
