Campaign Story
I have the opportunity this year to compete at the National Sanshou Team Trials in Lubbock, Texas on July 31 through August 2. This event is similar to a national Olympic event where all fighters are amateur and must pay their own travel and boarding expenses. Winners of this tournament will represent the USA at the World Championships later this year in Indonesia.
Sanshou is a full-contact, combat sport best described as kickboxing combined with quick wrestling. I have trained for months for this competition through intensive dieting, strength and conditioning, and late night sparring sessions.
Please help me get to this once in a lifetime event and hopefully obtain the opportunity to represent you, our school, and our country! Every little helps. Thank you.
