Send Me to South Africa

Hey Everyone,

I am here to fundraise for a volunteer trip to South Africa. I joined this organization called Edventure International and it is an international volunteer organization aimed at helping local communitites in Thailand, Costa Rica, Cambodia, and South Africa. Out of the four I chose South Africa and there I will be teaching children English and fundamental math skills, helping build and support local infrastructure/communities, and aiding in the protection of endangered wildlife. A few examples are providing children with beds in an orphanage in Cambodia, fostering the birth of baby sea turtles and their departure into the ocean, and taking care of engangered elephants. I want to do this to help out communities in need and make a positive impact in them, build my resume for a bright future in the work field, and to grow as a person through leadership opportunities and new experiences. My departure date is May 9th and I will be staying there for 3 weeks. The cost to travel to South Africa and volunteer add up to a total of $5000 in program fees and a plane ticket. Because I am a college student, I cannot pay for all this so I am asking if you would like to donate any amount to your heart's desire. I want to assure you your money will be going towards a good cause. It will not be going towards any "vacation" for me; rather it would be going towards helping communities in countries that need help. I am simply the tool for building a brighter quality of life for these people and animals.
