What’s your biggest inspiration in life? For me it’s the nature protection.
For the last 6 years this is what keeps me moving. I started from studying the topic in Ukraine and then joined a Master’s program in Finland. Now I’m on a crossroad. I have a unique opportunity which can change my life, but I need, guys, your help.
One month ago I got lucky. I has been accepted to participate in the Reserve planning course in the Tropics, organized by Helsinki University. This is not an ordinary course, it’s a trip to the heart of endangered Madagascar forests. One month I’ll be living in a tent or a research station, to get understanding why people are cutting down such nature treasures. And the most important – how to protect forests over all the world from vanishing. It will not be an easy trip – tropical diseases, malaria mosquitos and many other risks don’t scary me. I believe, an experience I gain is worth it.
The only thing that I can’t manage is a flight ticket. It’s extremely expensive, as for my tiny budget – 1400 euro! I was saving money for this journey for a long time, but it’s still not enough. All the saved money I’ll spend on the insurance, vaccination and equipment needed.
So now I’m writing to you, kindly asking to donate to cover the flight expenses. I still need 1200 euro and I hope you will give me this chance.
I promise to guide you through beautiful rainforests, inhabited by incredible animals – on the pages of my virtual diary. And also I send Madagascar postcards to those three who make the major contribution to my dream. Hope, my trip and experience will inspire more people to love the world we live in. Nature protection is vital.
Thanks a lot, guys!
