My name is Munyaradzi Mangoro. I am a 34 year old man, born in Zimbabwe, but currently residing in South Africa. I am the 8th child born in a family of 9 children. I am married, and I have a 5 year old daughter who currently resides in Zimbabwe

I came to South Africa in 2009 with the hope of getting a better future, but my major intention was to study, and get a degree so that I may get a better job to empower myself, and give my family a decent life. Six years down the line, I have finally been offered the opportunity to study at the University of Kwa-Zulu-Natal Pietermaritzburg, however, I need financial assistance in order to make this dream come true. At present I am employed as a general hand at my church 2 days a week, but that is hardly enough for me to be able to take care of myself and pay for my studies. I am to commence my studies on 25 July 2016 and need to make my first payment of R15000 by 10 August 2016.

My study Budget for 1st semester of 2016 is as follows:

Accommodations off campus: R1600 per month

Transportation: R 500 per month

Books/Stationary: R1500 per semester

Food: R 1000 per month

Momentum: R3660

Comp care: R3420

Student Levy: R250

Laptop: R5000
