Send Julienne to the Royal College of Art!

Hello! I am Julienne Joven, a designer for social causes. This year, I was accepted into the Royal College of Art in London, the #1 Art & Design school in the world (QS World Rankings). Out of the thousands of applicants worldwide, I am one of the 27 who was accepted into one of its competitive programs, the MA/MSc Global Innovation Design course.

My dream is to create things, to go beyond campaigns and use my two good hands to build social innovations - tools for farmers and fisherfolk, better processes for government service delivery, or safe spaces tailor-fitted to the needs of vulnerable families. My experience running a design agency that caters to social development programs, as well as the decade I've spent working in the development sector, opened my eyes to this direction.

However, the tuition fee at RCA costs £72,800 or ₱4,897,984.00, and the living expenses would cost around £27,120.00 or ₱1,824,633.60. I do not come from a well-to-do family, and was only able to get my undergrad through a 100% scholarship as well. I was hoping to be one of the rare Filipinas who do get into the RCA and to represent the country, but I'll be needing the help of kind souls to make this dream a reality.
