Send Jessica to the Farm (Midwifery Training)

Jessica is a hardworking doula and much loved member of the Houston birth community, and it is her dream to train at Ina May Gaskin's Farm Midwifery Center.

In addition to regular clientele, Jessica is an Operation Special Delivery volunteer and provides low cost and free births for young mothers, single mothers, and families with special circumstances. As  you can imagine birth work--especially done pro bono--is not exactly lucrative. Scraping together enough cash for training is a challenge.

Jessica wants to attend the March 16-22, 2014 Midwifery Assistant Workshop to broaden her understanding of the birth process and to learn new ways to assist midwives as well as the birthing mother.
