Hi all, My name is Allis, and I am a high school senior. I will be attending Savannah College of Art and Design in the Fall, and I hope to be doing so along with my boyfriend, Jacksen. I was lucky enough to receive a full ride to SCAD, but he is not so fortunate. In 2009, my boyfriend lost his younger brother, Ian, to brain cancer when Ian was approaching ten years old. He did not only lose his little brother in this, however, he lost his family. His parents divorced, his mom disappeared and fled the state, and his father and he were uprooted from Utah to Florida, covered in hospital bills, and had to live with family in order to stay afloat, when Jacksen was Just starting High School. Jacksen has moved upwards of 10 times in order to keep afloat in his high school career alone, as his dad still struggles with hospital bills, and the loss of Ian every day. Jacksen is an extremely bright, intelligent, and beyond talented artist. He is a master of the canvas and a genius with a pencil. He can pick up any artistic utensil and wield it as though it was an object he had known his whole life.  Here’s just some of his work: http://aliceisinherownwonderland.tumblr.com/post/48076875119/please-read

Jacksen has been one of the greatest blessings I know in my life. He deserves a shot at furthering his education, his talents and his mind know no limits, and neither does his compassionate, tender heart. I love him dearly- he is my very best friend above all else- and hope that he can continue being at my side through this college process. We need some serious help. His dad is struggling to maintain two full time jobs and he is working to try and pay our enrollment fee, although he’s still unsure exactly how he’s gonna be able to pay. If you can even simply find five dollars to donate to his cause, I will be forever grateful  He does not know I am doing this yet, but I desperately hope that with the kindness of your hearts, I will be able to surprise him with an amount of money that will help him through college. Even if you cannot give, please, share this, reblog this, email, anything will help. Please, help us make his dreams of becoming the blossoming artist he is come to fruition. “Thank you” is not a phrase that could ever fully encompass my gratitude, even if it’s a mere dollar. Thank you!
