Send German Dragons Singapore to the 2018 World Championships!

German Dragons Singapore have embarked on a new ambitious sporting challenge: surpass our campaign at the 10^th Club Crew World Championships (CCWC) in Adelaide Australia (2016), where the team won 4 Minor Finals over 200 and 500 m race distances for Mixed and Women’s small boat categories, and placed 8^th and 10^th respectively for the 2km races.

CCWC is the biggest dragon boat event for non-national dragon boat teams worldwide, with thousands of dragon boat athletes and supporters competing and attending. A select number of teams from each country is entitled to participate in this event, and German Dragons Singapore is very proud to be endorsed to represent Singapore at the 11^th edition in Szeged, Hungary (17 – 22 July 2018).

Our highly motivated crew of 35 working professionals is squeezing every moment of spare time to paddle and train up to 12 times a week for an entire year! While the training program is challenging, we are committed and excited to compete at the highest possible level, and are now reaching out to you to help us overcome some of the financial hurdles we face. Specifically, the crew members are seeking contributions to cover some of the race and transportation fees as well as overall equipment and coaching costs.
