Send a Soldier Home for the Holiday

Hello all!

Michael Krimm is an enlisted soldier in the United States Army who hasn't seen home for the holidays in quite sometime.

If you asked him when was 12, what he wanted to be when he grew up, he would tell you that he wanted to fly helicopters in the Army. Following in the footsteps of his great grandfather, grandfather, father and older brother, Michael is living his dream but not without hardwork, isolation and lonliness. It has been 3 years since he left home to fight for his country and since that time he hasn't spent a single Thanksgiving with family. He has either had to work overnight duty or couldn't afford to get to Philadelphia. He will soon be heading overseas and I would love to surprise him with a ticket home so he doesn't have to spend yet another Thanksgiving alone in the barracks before going away. 

About Me:

My name is Sika. Michael met in Austin, Texas, a city near his post. I was finishing up my undergrad and he was visiting the city for the weekend and we just kind of ran into eaach other. We started dating about a year and a half ago and he is my first love : ) It makes me kind of giddy thinking about it.Three months I moved to New York City to get my graduate degree and Mikey (michael) is still in Texas. I want to surprise him with this trip more than anything in the world right now and I would love your help. 

 I was going to purchase the ticket myself as a surprise, but I saw that they are almost $1000 at this point and I'm a graduate student with very limited income (and by limited I mean none) lol.
