With the rise of crime, women are increasingly being targeted. There has also been a loud ask in Malaysia for self-defense classes.

Azlimmi Himzal, the Founder and Chief Instructor of Dojo Seiken, wants to increase the capacity offering self-defense classes in not just in Kuala Lumpur but all over the country at this crucial time. To make these classes a reality, we need financial support. We are asking for $10,000. This money would pay for the following:

• Martial Arts mats and pads and supplies
• Facility maintenance / supplies
• Instructor time / travel
• Supplies and handouts for classes
• Future needs such as childcare, interpreters, etc. to make these classes accessible and sustainable.

We are committed to making the classes free, because some of them might not be able to attend otherwise, with an ask for donations when possible. The donations will make the classes sustainable. The self-defense workshops are designed to be accessible and adaptable for all bodies and abilities. The goal is to provide tools that all people can use to defend themselves from violence. We are skilled at adapting the skills for all bodies and abilities.
