Self Sufficient Home-Farm

Hi everyone,

Looking to fund my project of a small self sufficient homestead, couple of acres, enough to support a couple, or small family. Motivation came from a fact that unemployment is high all around world and some 45 km or 45 minutes from big cities there is available small farms that are abandoned. Villages are already empty because our grandfathers moved to the cities 50 years ago for a "cool" jobs in the brand new factories that are already closed by now, because of industrial revolution in another direction. Now when times came for us to continue to work in their positions, guess what? Most of the factories are closed, and villages are long time abandoned and devastated, except in couple of countries like Switzerland and few others

I believe that we can reverse this tendency and save some people from being homeless and hungry, or working for minimal salary just to pay for house and food expenses, while not being able to see their kids all day. Not to mention that food we eat this days is everything else except something I can trust in.

Farms with 10 000 chickens in a space of car garage or 100 cows prisoned one next to another can not be something we can accept just like that, pick from a shelf, pay, and later wonder why our health went wrong after we spent 10 years in a air conditioned building.

How much is really enough to be self sufficient is hard to calculate and depends on many factors, but together we can start something and find out how much time and effort is enough to motivate someone to decide to accept a "step back" from a conventional life, or better say, to start something to do, make a new value, beside to wait for a government to do something for us, which is never going to happened.

I am ready to offer rewards in exchange of donations, something meaningful, lets say a full day stay in a future homestead, or to be a guide to you during a visit, lets say that I will try to compensate your generosity in some way.
