self sufficient Community

We are wanting to buy a large parcel of land to build a totally self sufficient community. We want it to have its own water sources, sewage treatment, grow and raise their own food and make it available for everyone to come learn from. We have located the property and have made arrangements to buy it but we are in need of money to dig wells and ponds, dig cellars and buy seed along with animals for breeding and food. We are setting this up to be totally self sustained with it's own power source also so wind generation and solar panels will also have to be bought. We want this place to be for everyone to come learn how to be self sufficient by holding classes and seminars on what to do, precautions to take, self defense, self reliance, first aid, hydroponics, fishing, hunting, trapping, gardening and just about everything else. I have trained many soldiers on how to survive in extreme conditions and I have learned that many of the "OLD" ways still play a huge factor today. Some will not understand what I'm trying to do here but as a family man I want my children to understand that they don't have to make an impact on the eco system to succeed in life and that there are millions like us out there that want their families to stick together and work together no matter what the future holds. If you don't have the money or feel the need to help us accomplish our goals just take from this that there is more to life than just TV and video games to make a family happy and one weekend of camping without cell phones and internet WILL make great memories that will last a lifetime.
