US$0.00raised of $50,000.00 goal goal
The purpose of this project is to empower woman and young girls against the violence in male dominant countries. In our home country Turkey, 5 woman are killed by their husbands or their boy friends everyday. Unfortunately government doesn't protect woman and sometimes rewards the aggressor.
Selfdefenceforwoman (Özsavunma) would like to organize free self-defense classes and establish an academy for woman whom don't have enough income to pay for the monthly fees. We are already begun to teach Wing Chun self-defense techniques to our sisters. When the right time comes, we will be reaching more and more woman, who are under the vital risk.
We also practice meditation and will heal thousands and thousands of woman.
So please support us empowering the woman in every means. Let's change the world together.

My name is Isil Ozkan, my profession is user experience and I own a small start up. I've been practicing Martial Arts, Wing Chun Self Defence since 2009. Now, I'm sharing my knowledge with my sisters. Unfortunately, not all of them are able to afford the cost of the fees. If I can get your support, I can establish and academy and make it non-profit self defence classes for them. My plan is to establish this in Istanbul and then teach this tecniques to them and then travel to other countries where we can reach more woman and teach them.
