Seeking shelter

This campaign is to sponsor a Christian refugee family from Pakistan who has been registered with UNHCR for 5 years. Now, after 5 years UNHCR has closed their case.

When we came here 5 years ago we had money, we have been renewing our visas. But with the passage of time it became very hard to survive here.

Thai government doesn't consider us refugees, they call us illegal immigrants. They don't allow us to do any kind of work or job. If someone try to do any job, there's no any way to escape from immigration if they arrest from working place. Immigration just arrest and send to jail. So, there's risk to go outside for work or job.

We're surviving here with the support of churches and Christian friends. But it's not a permanent solution to lead a life.

We're young, educated and hard working but reluctant to do any kind of work and job. I am a professional teacher. My first bachelor degree is in Economics and second is in Education. I have completed my masters degree in Education. I have teaching experience over 10 years. I have been teaching Maths, computer science and English at some missionary school. I have also passion for sports. I have done cricket coaching course. I have computer skills. I can operate computer office work e.g MS Word, MS DOS, MS Excel, MS, Power Point etc. Being blessed by God with many gifts unable to do any of them....

My husband is a very hard working man. But can't do anything to support his family.

UNHCR is not providing refugee's rights. No medical facilities, no education for kids and no protection from immigration.

The purpose of this fundraising is to get the fixed amount to pay for private sponsorship program to Canada.
