Hi there everyone,

I am raising money so that I can go back and see my kids. I have not been able to see my two boys since April 2018 due to many reasons such as finances and now the coronavirus. As many know corona hit us all hard and for me personally put a huge dent in business and being able to travel to see them. For many reasons I have not been able to see my two boys since 2018 and this has weighed heavily over my mind since last year when corona hit EU. I was given permission due to this to be able to travel during covid times in May 2021. I don't know who I can reach out to to be able to get financial assistance for this and a friend suggested I do a fundraiser. My kids are ages 6 & 7 and live in South Africa, where I am in Slovenia. My current relationship with them is a phone call every day over what's app. They ask me at least four to five times a week "when are you going to visit?" and it's extremely hard to explain things to them. It would mean the world to them and me to be able to go back even for a short time. Being separated so far from then for such a long time has truly taken its toll mentally on both them and me. I miss birthdays, being able to hug them, read them a bedtime story, and everything that they need from their mother. I got permission to travel in may but I can't cover the full costs which include accommodation and flights. I would truly appreciate any help with this and thank you in advance.

Kindest regards,

Annie
