Help needed for my medical bills

Hi. My name is Grace and I'm trying to do a fund raiser for my partner and myself. I would like to take a moment to explain that the picture I used do not have our faces so to protect ourselves, especially him. My partner used to be an ex-convict but had turned over a new leaf since more than 10 years ago. However, recently when he lost his identification card and things start to change. He had made a report about lost of identification card and had to make a new one.

We used to live happily but recently we have been living in fear everyday because different people would wait outside the house to wait for him late at night almost every few days and threaten him. We had made reports to the authorities and they told him nothing could be done. Because of this, he has to see a psychiatrist to treat his panic attacks. I, myself, had sunk into depression. Our medical bills are piling and we are behind our rental. We are told to pay up else we would be chased out of the house due to not being able to pay rent and the harrassment which brings a lot of inconvenience to our neighbours being ashame of ourselves. In order to help him & myself, a few of our friends have already pooled in a sum of money which is still insufficient yet we continue working day and night at different jobs trying to survive. Today we put it on GoGetFunding website because we want to raise awareness of the importance of an illness can change your life and apart from that, despite having to go to the authorities, the civilians were not being protected because he was an ex-convict more than 10 years ago. Everyone should be given a second chance especially when things happened were decades ago.

I am raising a funding campaign because 1) we need help with our medical bills & home rental since we have used up our salaries to pay up for everything and 2) I truly believed that he has changed after knowing him for more than 8 years I wish that people wouldn't judge a book by its cover. Throughout the years, people changing including you and I, only for the better or for the worse. I am asking for everyone's help to give us a second chance in life as we did not deserve all of this just because of his past mistakes.
