Campaign Story
Paul Kelly is fundraising for Sean Waine in memory of his mother Sharon Waine, who was an employee at Newell Brands. Sharon worked with many of us during her time at Newell Brands and was a great help and friend to many in the company not just in the UK.
Sharon sadly passed away April 2014 after being diagnosed with cancer in August 2013 leaving Sean, who was 12 at the time, to be looked after by his Gran, Joyce, after raising him as a single mother.
Sean is now 16 and is growing into a young gentleman who has his own difficulties with Asperger’s Syndrome. He enjoys canoeing and travels throughout the UK entering various competitive races whilst also studying for his GCSE’s. In September Sean will be starting a college course in Joinery. To make sure that Sean can continue his canoeing all of us at Newell Brands would like to raise as much money as possible to allow him to be able have the equipment he needs and be able to stay away when travelling distances.
Paul is walking the Grand Union Canal for 50 miles from Braunston, Northampton to Central Birmingham 13th – 15th October 2017 so we need your support
