Seams for Teams Uganda

Hello Everyone!
Firstly, I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to those who donated money towards my 2014 Uganda Missions trip!

Following it's success, I'm returning to Gulu, Uganda in August this year to continue supporting the mission work! The purpose of my return trip is to create and produce more designs for the Clutch Bag Project which launched last year.

The Clutch Bag Project is about creating fashion-trendy accessories which are then developed by local women to present something authentic, new and fresh to the women in Gulu. We are now also keen to establish a social media platform to appeal to everyone worldwide!

The project is designed to raise money for advanced industry equipment for the Sewing Enterprise which helps women become more independent; it prepares them to develop their own businesses and teaches them things such as Pattern Cutting Techniques through the Sewing School. This teaching enhances their skills, creativity and confidence in arts such as dressmaking.

As with anything, participation in such projects requires financial support from you guys at home.
