Invest in the future of ASEAN. Help create service leaders for ASEAN community. Any amount will go a long way into building the next cohort of southeast-asian service leaders. A simple click on donate button of a man can change the life of the whole mankind in SEA.
With the objective of transforming our participants into ready and able project leaders for the year 2017 to return back to their community and make changes to the lives of others, the Youth Leadership Summit (YLS) is a one-week-long service leadership training programme that aims to create a platform for Southeast Asian youth leaders to connect and interact with their counterparts from across the region and to build a strong network of youth service leaders through this shared experience.
Each of the organizers of YLS16 had our lives changed through our experiences with SEALNet, and it is likely that you had a part to play in this transformative experience. We find ourselves coming back to SEALNet because of the bonds made and genuine belief that our projects are instrumental in driving a unified region forward.
Thus we would like to invite you on this journey with us, the easiest and most tangible way would be via monetary support.
What is the Youth Leadership Summit 2016 (YLS16)?
Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network (SEALNet) is a non-profit organization with a mission to bring service and to promote leadership among Southeast Asian communities. The Youth Leadership Summit (YLS) is a one-week-long service leadership training programme that aims to create a platform for Southeast Asian youth leaders to connect and interact with their counterparts from across the region and to build a strong network of youth service leaders through this shared experience. Not only will participants engage with and learn from one another, but will also discover more about themselves and grow as leaders under the guidance of experienced SEALNet mentors and alumni from around the world. With the objective of transforming our participants into ready and able project leaders for the year 2017, the following application is targeted for first to third year university students – or one year prior to graduation – of Southeast Asian nationalities and ethnicities who are passionate about our region and its development and who are driven to turn their service project ideas into reality.
The central theme this year is sustainable service leadership.
