In July 2016, I will be heading off to Fiji with Volunteer Eco Students Abroad for 3 weeks. The first week will entail volunteering and living with a family in a small village community to help revitalise their schools with new play equipment, paint where needed and helping children learn english. We will also be building bathrooms, water catchments, and composting units for the village.
The second week involves travelling between 3 islands in Fiji, learning about the wildlife and conservation there.
The final week will be working on the Turtle Conservation Program to build new pools for turtles, a bay for the care of sick wild turtles, and providing ongoing care and raising turtle hatchlings. This program also includes transplanting new coral into coral reefs, and removing Crown of Thorns Starfish which are destroying the reef.

I have included the link to the website where you can find specific details about the trip.
Thank you for helping me get to Fiji to make a difference with local people, and marine wildlife conservation!
