I was a few days into a “funk” where I felt as nothing could go right. That bad luck was following me..I was stopped on a hill at a stop light in my full size dodge, going to look at a project for work. The lady in front of me started to go but it was still red she wasn’t paying attention and I couldn’t see the light only what she was doing, but I started to go as well not knowing. She stopped abruptly after moving about 5 feet, well when I tried to stop my Nike slides I was wearing the toe piece caught under my brake and being a big truck on a hill I just couldn’t get it to stop in time before I barely hit the back spare tire of her suv I guess denting the truck door behind it. She was very nice and so was I but she had the upper hand in this one. She went to the most expensive shop around to get one quote and only one. Me not wanting to go thru insurance because my rate would sky rocket, she hit me with the bill for $1800. Saying they don’t make the back doors for that car anymore so they’d have to fix and re paint it. She agreed to let me do two payments and I told her to give me a few weeks. Well over those two weeks all 4 of my residential construction jobs postponed because of covid re- shutting down and freaking people out. So after the two weeks I had no money and she started being extremely rude to me. I have until This weekend to pay the $1800 in full or she’s turning it into insurance. Please help
