Screening against extremism

Your chance to support an exciting student project challenging extremism in Malmö, Sweden!

We are organizing an event about extremism as part of our Peace and Conflict Studies programme: the event consists of a screening of the excellent documentary ‘Exit - Leaving extremism behind’, which is followed by a panel discussion/Q&A

‘Exit’ provides an insight into the phenomenon of extremism that is less seen in the tumultuous reporting on our television screens and newspapers: the personal experience of the people joining and leaving extremist groups. It encourages us to reflect on our own position in society and behavior towards fellow human beings, and in understanding motivations of individuals behind radicalization.

Unfortunately, our budget as students is more than limited, and the screening fee is 3000SEK (ca. 300€). We would be grateful for any support until the 12th of December, the date of our event. Preferably no food, since we don't think it travels well virtually, but cold hard cash (or the digital equivalent of it) is very welcome.

The event is free and open for everyone, and with your support we would be able to reach more people, and hopefully counter extremism for a more peaceful and tolerant society.
