Scott & Kerra’s Festival Wedding!

Almost every girl grows up dreaming of their wedding day; their dress, the flowers, the cake, the chapel. I wasn't one of those girls.... But then I met Scott. I realised how much it meant to me to be able celebrate the person I loved and our new life together; how important it was for this day to be perfect. And to be able to share this day with all the other important people in our lives that we love.

As cliché and gay as this sounds (even by my own standards) I want my wedding day to be surrounded by our friends and family with good food, great wine, and dancing, laughing and singing under the stars.

As myself and Scott are both musically inclined it was a no brainer that the only way for us to be wed would be at a festival!... and I already have my preferred venue in mind....1,700 acres of the most ancient forest in Britain today and a protected environment for native wildlife... Cornbury Park. THEY HAVE DEERS!

To hire a venue like this alone will cost around £3000, that's not including things like marquees, catering, PA hire or travel (ideally we'd like to be able to arrange travel for those coming from Wales and Brighton dependent on the final location). Then there's the little things to think about like decorations, invitations and dressing the entourage of people involved in the magical proceedings.

Venues like this book up very quickly and I've been looking at places which are already booking into 2016. Most ask for at least 50% of the venue hire as a deposit and many ask for the full hire fee outright. Ideally myself and Scott want to pay for the venue hire then work out the necessities later.

We're about to go through a period of very tight scrimping and saving (so forgive us as we become hermits) however we would be undeniably grateful if you could help us make our dream day become a reality. For everyone's generosity with are looking into fun and creative ways of how we can show our thanks (the sewing machine will definitely be making an appearance).
