School Reunion & 50th Birthday in Brazil

Please help me make a dream come true! In November 2013 my dear friends, who I haven't seen in 40 something years, will have a school reunion for the first time. As it turns out, it will be on the same day as my 50th birthday! I would hate to miss this wonderful celebration because I cannot afford it. I work as a part-time teacher and I struggle to make ends meet. A vacation has been out of the question for many years, but this time I just cannot pass on this one time opportunity to celebrate with friends who I have not seen since the 70's.

Funds would be used for round trip airline ticket to Brazil, passport fees, boarding of my two dogs, and other expenses related to the fact I will be missing work and will not get paid for it (since I am a part-time teacher I get no personal days or vacation time).

I really appreciate your help! This would truly be a dream come true for me, and a once in a lifetime opportunity. You do not turn 50 everyday, and this will be the first time we (the girls who went to the same school in the 70's) will have a reunion, so this is pretty big!
