School Funds – Special Needs School

We trust and pray that this communique reaches you while you and your family are all enjoying the best of health.Just as energy is at the heart of everything so too is my family - MY HEART of everything that I do.

As a mother of 4 boys I am acutely mindful of the opportunity granted to me by the Almighty to give my children every opportunity to fulfil their dreams and aspirations, and for that I will be eternally grateful

I’ve invested many years of my whole life in working and this has played a critical role in my famlies life and has helped me to raise my 4 boys with dignity. The support I enjoyed from my family at the birth of my twins Thaakir and Shaakir 13 years ago was and continue to be invaluable. Suffice it to say that my pregnancy was extremely challenging.

Notwithstanding the biological risks during pregnancy my boys have given me immense love and joy. I've been told by gynaecologist and paediatricians that twins can encounter developmental delays and that I need to prepare myself and be vigilant. As parents this is not what you want for your child, let alone admit to the possibility.

However, due to extreme prematurity (born at 24 weeks), they were later diagnosed with cognitive delays and specific learning disability and ADHD which requires daily medication and have the need to attend school for learners with special education needs.

Due to the lack of extra help in mainstream schools in South Africa, we had no choice but to enrol them at semi private school to ensure they get the best attention and education.

The school fees at this “special need school” is quite high $65000 for the year, which we as a family cannot afford, so I humbly request your assistance to help us pay my boys school fees before 30 November 2019.
