Children who've lost their parents have a very difficult time paying the school fees, uniform and books needed to attend school in Africa. This project will allow twenty students to attend school for the entire school year.

The covid-19 pandemic has killed an entire generation of parents, leaving little ones to fend for themselves or with the help of elderly guardians. Many times, there is no money for school and the children end up looking for work in order to stay busy and to bring home some money. This mini-grant will allow twenty children who've been orphaned by covid-19 to attend school for an entire year. Their uniforms and books will also be covered through this grant.

We will make sure that the education of these students is paid for the 2020-2021 school year (in Kenya, the school year starts in January and ends in late November). We'll follow their progress and will encourage them to continue studying, despite the difficulties they face. When children stay in school, they are more likely to get better-paying jobs when they graduate. Our hope is that these students will become productive members of their society.

20 children will be able to attend school for on year. If the children can graduate from school through the generosity of many, they will have the chance of rising out of poverty through work.
