On behalf of Love Africa International Foundation, I wish to raise funds to operationalize a feeding program for vulnerable children attending lower primary school at Sunrise African Academy. Due to the effects of COVID-19, many parents are unable to sustain their children in schools due to loss of income/ livelihood and hence un-sustainability.

With incentives like offering food and COVID-19 safety kits in schools, my organization intends to increase the rate of school attendance for the pupils. We are currently targeting 60 pupils under the ages of 9 and in lower and basic primary. The period in question is the Second Term (Jan - March '21) that is currently on-going, and Third Term (May-July '21); i.e. a total of 21 weeks.

Costing per Pupil per Week:

(USD1 = Kshs.100 approx.)

1. Lunch Food: 150 x 5 = 750 (USD7.5);
2. COVID Safety Kits (Masks/ Sanitizer): 300 (USD3);
Total: 1,050/= (equivalent to USD10.50) per pupil.

No. of Pupils 30 x 1,050 x 21 weeks = 661,500/= (USD6,615)

While thanking you in advance, this is 2 semester program, and if successful, we hope to extent the roll out to a larger reach encompassing a larger community base. Please share where possible.

Funding request school feeding for 30 pupils @ $7.50 per week for 21 weeks.

Funding request for safety kits for 30 pupils @ $3.00 per week for 21 weeks.

Total Funding Request: $10.50 per week x 30 pupils x 21 weeks = USD6,615
