Scholarship Opportunity , An education Dream !

My name is Maram Fseifes from Gaza, I live in Amman with 13 siblings, my life can be described as a challenging one, but thankfully I managed to adapt by self-supporting myself, working and studying for the last four years, I am a strong believer in change, but I am also a believer of hard work,risk taking, and most important of all, education. My father who passed away in 2014 was the reason of all this, he taught me what one can reach if you set your goals in life. My goal is to raise myself through education, some might think of it as a burden,greed,too much, but I think its necessary. Afer all education is the only true wealth I ever had.

That said, during the last month or so, I managed to prepare what it takes to get a 50% scholarship in BSc in Mechanical Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU) in Nicosia, Cyprus.. I managed to gather almost $1000/ $3495 through local community and friends.

Every dollar counts, this opportunity could change everything for me.
