Campaign Story
Hello again!
It's me, Mark! So you may (or may not) remember me from a previous fundraising effort, which you can still find here: https://assets.gogetfunding.com/help-scholars-experience-.... I'm still working in the same organization (of Gawad Kalinga), still living with the same students (5 freshmen, 8 sophomores), and still wanting to give them another experience that they can remember. Except with this campaign, I'm doing it as a surprise for the students - so they do not know that I am actually raising funds for this trip (although they know that I'm planning to have them experience another trip). I hope you can help me make this one last chance for a dream vacation to happen.
This time around, I want to celebrate with my dorm family with a year-end gathering. As you may remember, my dorm family consists of both freshmen and sophomore students. All of them are from Mindanao. Therefore, after the sophomores' graduation on June 12, 2019, there's a 99% chance that my dorm family will never be complete again as some of the sophomores might have to go back home to pursue whatever they want to pursue. And that's why I also want to end the year with another vacation for the family. We're hoping to be able to go out and end the year in a special way. We already went north before with Zambales and so this time, we want to go south! I'm targeting a Tagaytay vacation (or staycation, should I say) for my dorm family.
As with before, the amount I've put here may be huge, but that is simply a target. Any amount will already help, but for this trip, and for whatever the amount will be raised, I have plans to rent a decent Airbnb (which would already cost me around P15,000 to P20,000 either for a one-night stay in posh place or a two-night stay in a decent place) and let them have good Tagaytay food (so I'm budgeting around P300 per head per meal so that it'll be some really quality experience they will get, as I can bring them to some other fancy places). I can cover the transportation and my dormers can save some money to shoulder other costs (snacks in the house, activities they can do in Tagaytay, etc.)
I, together with my dormers, will try to secure financial resources for this, but as I mentioned before, we cannot do this alone. I'm not financially well-off but I really want to let my dormers experience this for one last time. A little help would ALWAYS go a long, long way! I'm hoping to get your support once again!
Thank you in advance!
