Scars

Hello, My name is Ruby Fink and I am a film student at Chapman University.

Starting today I am going forward with the intention to raise enough money not only to fullfil the funds needed to make my student thesis film, Scars, but also to make a film that will positively affect everyone who comes to see it . I intend this because I know I have a great story, and I am putting together a great cast and crew that share my desire to create something to share with the world.

Scars is a story written by Lyndsey Werner about a young girl named Alex. Once the Belle of the Ball, she now has to deal with horrible scars she suffered in a car accident and a world where image is everything. Instead of choosing to hide in her room, she sneaks out to the Charity Masqerade Ball-against her mother's wishes-in order to have one night where she can be just like everyone else again. 

If you haven't guessed already, most of the donations will be going into renting costumes from various stores and theater groups as well as renting the location at 2,000 dollars a night in order to create the world that Alex lives in. If we can't get the money for the location the donations will be put to use in building a set on one of Dodge College's sound stages, as well as providing catering for everyone vounteering on the crew.

Everyone who donates will receive a DVD or blue ray copy of the film, with an included limited edition of a music video we will be shooting as well. Everyone also will be referenced in the credits.
