Saying I Love You, Face To Face

Have you ever been in love? Yes? Then you know how it feels to be so far away from that person. Even for just a day. Try being in my spot, I’ve been dating this magnificent boy, Jordan for a year now, and haven’t once been able to say I’ve kissed him, hugged him, or even held his hand. I’ve gone a year with only being able to FaceTime him. Seeing his smile and smiling back, even though it hurts. I’ve never even been able to say the three words that mean the most to his face.. I love you.. it breaks my heart, but everyday I look at this boy and can’t help but be happy and grateful I have him in the first place. This boy has not only shown me what love is, but just through a little handheld device, he’s shown me what it means to live. Before I met him I was at a very rough point in my life. I was hurting so bad I had almost killed myself multiple times. I felt lost, like no one would ever understand me. I was so done with everything. I stopped doing what I loved, playing football, drawing, even smiling. But he saved me, he picked me up, told me everything was gonna be okay, and held my hand through it all. I’ve never been happier, but he lives in the US and I live in the UK. Getting the money to be face to face isn’t going well, this may be our last resort to making it happen. Or else me and him are gonna have to wait years to be together. Anything at all helps, cause just a small donation brings me a step closer, to being able to visit the love of my life
