Over the past three years my sister's(age 43) has slowly but gradually disintegrated by remaining in an abusive relationship. As a victim of physical and emotional abuse she has lost everything, the roof over her head, her job and the use of of her right leg as a result of an attempted suicide. She used all her savings to support her abusive partner and finally she has broken free from his grasp. She has been battered and bruised, strangled and violently injured and finally she has broken free. Please help me help her get her life back on track.

My sister has been bouncing around between homes and she needs a stable environment to grow and become whole again. We contacted almost 21 shelters in her home country (South Africa) and each turned her away as they cannot accept anyone with a pre-existing mental health disorder. We have explored every option and as her sister I cannot let her sleep on the streets. All she has is the clothes on her back and the clothes in her suitcase.My sister is educated and tries her very best to get her life back on track.

She is a highly skilled cyber security expert fighting to recover from the trauma of physical abuse, goes for interviews on a regular basis and needs a quiet area to do these interviews. She has called many social workers and nobody can seem to help. In this case the South African Government has failed us.

They failed us in every way. Buddies, I turn to you for help now.

The funds raised will be used to keep a roof over head (basic rent), staple foods and medicine's for the next 4 months. These are extremely basic human survival conditions.
