Campaign Story
Kenya majorly relies on grain importation. The country has experienced steady growth in demand for grains. However, the country's production capacity has not been able to match the demand and at times significant drops have been recorded.According to a Global Agricultural Information Network (Gain) report from the Foreign Agricultural Service of the U.S Department of Agricultue(USDA),Imports of maize, wheat and rice which are the 3 major grains consumed in the country is expected to increase in the 2019-20 marketing year due to a widening local supply deficit.Post harvest losses make a significant percentage of the losses made by farmers and traders.Proper handling of the harvested crop is key to food security. My dream is to establish a grain bulking and handling center.I would like to put up silos and grain storage warehouses handling 10,000,000tonnes of grain at any given time. Join hands with me to make this a reality. Donate via PayPal or equity bank via Paybill no. 247247 account 0910194737592
