Saving Strays in the Middle East and Eastern Europe

 SCSD (Society for Social and Environmental Responsibility) is a Turkey-based nonprofit that mainly acts in saving wildlife, the environment, nature, and their inhabitants as well as in helping individuals in need of help in any manner.

We strongly believe that people growing in parts of communities that are cruel to other beings will hardly be responsible enough toward the environment and society and there is a potential that they could end up with a criminal action.

Unfortunately, there is a huge pile of massacre on the streets especially on the strays, some of which are conducted by some local administrations and institutions for the sake of tourism etc.

However, every being has the right to live safe and sound. We are committed to end the slaughters of strays n Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. Recent developments in the region showed us that hundreds of strays are killed on the street every day.

We are trying to reach the local administrations and turn those lovable animals into the symbol of their neighborhoods by giving them necessary and scientific care.

As our own means are not sufficient, we need to reinforce our efforts by rising fund from various sources. Every penny counts and saves another animal. While our website (www.scsd.gen.tr ) is in Turkish, we are trying to prepare the English pages.
